Samuel Abu Jinapor’s presentation of bags of rice to the people of his constituency, Damongo was rejected by angry youths.
These angry youths repacked the bags of rice into the bucket of the pickup car that brought it and asked for it to be returned.
According to them, they need sustainable jobs that can better their livelihoods thus their refusal to accept the bags of rice.
The bags of rice were presented so the people could use them to celebrate the Eid-ul-Adha but they weren’t ready to accept it.
They chanted and shouted “We need jobs” as they frantically rejected the kind offer.
